Achievement so far : They keep innovating through working with microorganisms, compost and other elements to be able to nourish the soil. Through deeper research, they are trying to discover different types of fertilizer that allows the recovery of the soils to be faster. It is helping a lot because the coffee is coming out better, it is coming out more solid, and also are also lowering costs in the issue of fertilization.
2023 Update : The brothers have been conducting experiments on their own farms that serve as demonstration plots for developing more climate resilient options that they can then share with their community. Recently they created pellets out of organic home made compost that they will eventually have it ready to distribute to farmers that need it.
What does the future holds: Making circular agriculture into a circular economy in the years to come. Innovate on improving the quality of coffee, improve incomes and also creating earth friendly production methods including fertilizers that can allow soils to recover faster at scale. Finding markets that values their coffees.
